Hello Dofus Forum Users!
This week, Ankama will be converting the Dofus forums to our brand new forum architecture! Some of you may have already had the chance to experience this new forum style over on the Wakfu forums, but the Dofus forums will have some additional new features to make showing off your in-game achievements easier!
As we teased on Twitter; along with the ability to use one of our default forum avatars; you will also have the ability to choose one of your characters to represent your presence on the forums.
This new user profile can show your level, class, server, alignment, guild, and professions next to every post, making it easier to make new friends, arrange trades, and share your builds and stats, if you want to!
This new system will have some changes. The forum PM system will be converted to a new cross-community PM system that should launch within the next few weeks. This means that if you have PMs on your forum account that you would like to save, you should back them up immediately or they will be lost.
Additionally, the new system will no longer have user profiles or comment systems.
If there is any content in your forum profile, comments, or personal assistant that you would like to retain, please make sure to back it up to a text file or Word document right away.
The switch to the new system is scheduled to happen at approximately 9:30 AM (GMT+1) tomorrow (Wednesday, January 12, 2011). You can ask questions about the new forum system or post your comments in this thread.
